Attendance
  • Regular attendance at lectures is obligatory for all students and it is a condition for them to give examination in prescribed courses.
  • Students who absent themselves from lectures and academic exercises for 30 or more scholastic days, even if intermittently and for legitimate reasons, are liable to repeat the semester.
  • Those who absent themselves for a third of the lectures of any single course, or fail to satisfy on time other requirements demanded by the professor, will not be eligible to sit for examination in that course.
  • Any absence from lectures requires the prior permission of the president. A register will be maintained to record the same.
Seminars and Written Assignments
  • All written assignments should be computer-printed. Individual professors may ask for hand-written assignments.
  • During the B.Th. Course the students are expected to submit a minimum of 1 scientific paper every semester, in addition to the seminar papers. In the 6th Semester the students will do the B.Th. dissertation. It will carry 25% of the marks in the final evaluation of the course.
  • During the B.Th. Course the students are expected to attend two seminars. The themes will be announced at the beginning of each semester and the students can sign up for the seminar according to one’s choice. The seminar consists of the following:
    • A short introductory presentation of the theme and methodology of the seminar by the professor.
    • Personal research and study of the topic as directed by the professor.
    • Presentation and discussion in the seminar group with the professor.
    • Presentation of a written scientific paper.
