The Vendrame Missiological Institute of SHTC is named after Fr. Constantine Vendrame, SDB, a pioneer missionary who worked in Northeast India, particularly in the Khasi Hills, from 1925 to 1957. Ever since its establishment in 1977, this Institute has been promoting research in Missiology and the publication of books of a theological, missiological, and cultural character. The quarterly journal Mission Today (earlier known as Indian Missiological Review) comes under its auspices.
The College has so far published some 140 books. More books are envisaged in the future. These include the following:
